Frequently Asked Questions

1. What steps must a patient follow to initiate the ordering process from a licensed Canadian Pharmacy?

A patient must have a physical examination by a licensed U.S. physician within the last year, and a written prescription for all medication he/she wishes to order. A patient may order up to a 90-day supply of medication for his/her own personal use.

2. What method of payment do you accept?

We accept Visa, MasterCard and online checks.

3. How long does it take to send an order from an online pharmacy to a patient's doorstep?

Estimated shipping times are 14-21 days for a new order and 10-14 days for a refill. U.S. Customs does have the ability to hold a package for up to 30 days before releasing it. This is beyond the control of our pharmacy affiliates.

4. Why can't we ship any controlled substances, narcotics or refrigerated items from our pharmacy?

Partners in our Canadian pharmacy affiliate do not carry any habit forming medications. Legally we are prohibited from shipping controlled substances and narcotics across the border. Nor do we ship any medications whose safety we cannot guarantee upon arrival (for example, we do not ship medications that require refrigeration.)

5. How can an online pharmacy affiliate ensure patient safety?

All pharmacies in our network are licensed in the Canadian province in which they are located. Trained quality assurance technicians review all of the information that is submitted for each patient. We also have a health care professional call each new patient and verify his or her personal and medical information, in order to ensure accuracy. A Canadian physician then verifies the prescription and medical information. If the Canadian physician approves the prescription, he/she rewrites it as a Canadian prescription which a Canadian pharmacy can legally fill. A qualified pharmacy technician reviews the patient's information again when filling the prescription. Once the prescription is filled, it is checked over a final time by a licensed pharmacist, and then shipped to the patient.

6. Why are our prices so much lower for the same medications that are sold more expensively in the United States?

In the United States, pharmaceutical companies dictate the price of medication for consumers. In Canada, the Patent Medicines Prices Review Board determines the prices manufacturers can charge for their patented medicines. Canadian drug prices are typically set based on an average of what patients pay in all countries of the G-8. When you combine Canadian price controls with the purchasing power of the American dollar, you can purchase prescription medications for as much as 80% less than the price you would be paying at your local pharmacy.

7. Is the quality of the medications dispensed from our pharmacies equivalent to the quality of medications in the United States?

Yes, as long as you order them from one of our licensed Canadian Pharmacies. In most cases the manufacturing of the brand name pharmaceuticals is centralized for the world and a lot of the time the same manufacturing plant will send medications to both Canada and the US. Sometimes the names or appearance of these pharmaceuticals will differ but the ingredients are the exact same.

8. When I join your Canadian pharmacy affiliate, can I keep using the order forms that I have been using with another Canadian pharmacy?

No. Not all Canadian pharmacy order forms are as thorough and complete as the ones that we have developed with our legal team and physicians. We can assist you in the transition from using your existing order forms to implementing our order forms into your process. We will make this process as seamless as possible for you and your customers.

9. Is it possible for me to add an up-charge to the pricing structure?

Yes. Our flexible commission structure allows you to increase your overall margins by giving you the ability to add an up-charge to our base retail price.

10. Can I set the pricing on individual meds?

No. Any price changes must be applied to all medications.

11. When will I receive my commission check?

Commissions are calculated within 10 days after the close of each calendar month, based on orders shipped during that calendar month. When an associate in any month is owed $5,000.00 or more, the associate shall be paid by bank wire transfer. When an associate in any month is owed less than that amount, the associate shall be paid by mail. In either case, payments will be made within one week of the calculation being made. If an associate in any month is owed less than $100.00, that amount shall be carried over to the following month, and then paid to the associate.
